12.9 Grade Socket Head Shoulder Screw (Stripper Bolt) — ISO 7379

A shoulder screw differs from an ordinary socket cap screw: the shank
carries a plain, unthreaded shoulder that acts as the locating and
load-bearing surface, while the thread only holds the screw in place.
Shoulder diameter sets the fit; shoulder length sets the stop position.
That makes it the right part for pivots, locating pins and stripper
plates - not interchangeable with a standard cap screw.
Typical use: mould and fixture location, stamping die stripper plates,
automation guides and stops, hinge and roller shafts, jig locating pins.
Naming to ISO 7379: shoulder diameter × shoulder length × thread,
e.g. 8×20×M6 = Ø8 mm shoulder, 20 mm shoulder length, M6 thread.
